Kiss Body Moisturiser Review

Kiss Body Moisturizer Review

This was £4.00 from Wilkos, and they also sell the whole range of Kiss skincare and body care.

Onto the review... I have quite dry legs, towards my ankles and calves. I bought this because it was cheap and I needed a moisturizer Note: I have only used this on my legs, because of my dry skin. I used 1 and a half pumps one each calf, and then two for my thigh. It smells very good, but was shimmery. For me, that's a big no-no as if I had my legs on show, I wouldn't really want sparkles on my legs. However, since I usually put it on when I go to sleep, it's not that big of an issue. It's not very 'heavy-duty', it's more of a light moisturizer. Took about 10 minutes for it to totally sink into my skin, and not feel really wet or sticky.

I think this is a good moisturizer if you're looking for a cheap one, but beware the shimmers! Haha, some people may like that, but just a warning. Anyway, good product, juts not 100% moisturizing...

The Candle Tag

The Candle Tag

Disclaimer: I may not own this tag, but I have never come across it before. If someone has done it before, then that is without my knowledge, and I apologize if this isn't the correct one. I'm just having fun and doing something a bit different.

It's that time of year where we shut our windows, close the curtains and put the fire on! With the new year just around the corner, it's blatant that the cold weather pushes us inside our homes. But fear not! All doesn't have to be bleak.

Yes, that's right. Candles are here! Placed in a dimly lit room changes the atmosphere to cosy and safe. I like lighting my main candles (in the above photos) and little tealights. I especially like doing this when I'm having a bath or doing some blogging! My favourite candle is my orange scented one, which I got from a sweet old man in York a few months back. It smells divine and adds a pop of colour to the room. I then have my two tin candles, in the scents 'Oxygen' and 'Faerie Wishes and Kisses'. I'm not sure where I got these from, but there are similar ones sold in John Lewis in a variety of sizes. They smell sweet, but very cleansing and pure. The smallest candle is a simple, plain candle (not scented) in a clear jar. Perhaps boring, but I like it. The last candle is my Christmas countdown candle. I do this on how many sleeps until Christmas, starting at 25, ending at 1. Great help as I deleted the app :P

I love candles, and this Winter, I hope you can share this love of candles with me! Go light some lovely little lights and enjoy Christmas and the New Year!

About The Tag: If you want to take part in it, all you need to do is describe your favourite candles! No questions, just typing and sitting in a room filled with candle love.

I TAG - EVERYONE! And, littlemissstyleguru if she's reading this :)

Wilko Stippling Brush Review

 Wilko Stippling Brush Review

Recently I bought the Wilko Stippling Brush for a mere £4.00, and I thought I'd do a quick review on this.

So the first thing I noticed about this is how much the handle looked like a Real Techniques brush. It was eye catching, so it's working! When I took it out of the packaging, it had a smart little bristle protector on it, which I will be keeping for when I travel. It also came in a zip lock package, which I will again be keeping. I tried it out using the Collection BB Cream, and it applied to my face well. However, the bristles weren't super soft, and mildly stung when I stippled it onto my face.

I then cleaned this, and decided how well it would apply blusher/bronzer/highlighter. It applies great! Light coverage, doesn't make you look like a clown and only need a bit of  product. New favourite blush brush (:

I really like this brush, especially for the price. It looks professional and neat, but the product doesn't apply too well in terms of how liquid product goes on your face. Would reccomend this for blushers/bronzers/highlighters. All in all, a good starter brush!
